# Reactive UI Toolkit Community License 1.1

**In plain words (courtesy summary, not the license):** free to use, modify,
and ship in your projects and commercial products if your company earned less
than **US $250,000** in the last 12 months. Above that, shipping a product
requires a commercial license for Reactive UI Toolkit — Godot — see
`LICENSE-COMMERCIAL.md`, distributed alongside this license. The same terms
and prices are offered for each library in the Reactive UI Toolkit family (Godot,
Unity, Unreal), each licensed per product. Either way: include "Made with
Reactive UI Toolkit" in your product credits, and don't resell this software as a
product that competes with it.

## Acceptance

In order to get any license under these terms, you must agree to them as both
strict obligations and conditions to all your licenses.

## Copyright License

The licensor grants you a copyright license for the software to do everything
you might do with the software that would otherwise infringe the licensor's
copyright in it for any permitted purpose. However, you may only distribute
the software according to [Distribution License](#distribution-license) and
make changes or new works based on the software according to [Changes and New
Works License](#changes-and-new-works-license).

## Distribution License

The licensor grants you an additional copyright license to distribute copies
of the software. Your license to distribute covers distributing the software
with changes and new works permitted by [Changes and New Works
License](#changes-and-new-works-license).

## Notices

You must ensure that anyone who gets a copy of any part of the software from
you also gets a copy of these terms, as well as copies of any plain-text
lines beginning with "Required Notice:" that the licensor provided with the
software.

## Changes and New Works License

The licensor grants you an additional copyright license to make changes and
new works based on the software for any permitted purpose.

## Patent License

The licensor grants you a patent license for the software that covers patent
claims the licensor can license, or becomes able to license, that you would
infringe by using the software.

## Noncompete

Any purpose is a permitted purpose, except for providing any product that
competes with the software or any product the licensor or any of its
affiliates provides using the software.

A product competes with the software when it offers functionality similar to
a declarative, component-based UI framework for game engines, in whole or in
part, to users or developers, as this software does. Goods and services
compete even when they are provided free of charge, when provided as
libraries, plugins, tools, or services, and regardless of the game engine
targeted. Competing is prohibited whether the competing product incorporates
the software, is derived from it, or merely reimplements its distinctive
interfaces. A game or application built with the software is never, by
itself, a competing product.

## Free Tier Condition

Use for a permitted purpose is royalty-free under these terms if, and only
if, your company and all companies that control, are controlled by, or are
under common control with your company had, in total, less than
**US $250,000** (2026 dollars, adjusted for inflation) in gross revenue plus
gross funding received in the 12 months before the date you first distribute,
publish, or commercially deploy a product incorporating the software, and in
each 12-month period thereafter in which that product remains commercially
available.

If you exceed this condition, your license under these terms continues for
60 days from the date you exceed it, during which you must either obtain a
commercial license from the licensor (see `LICENSE-COMMERCIAL.md`) or cease
distribution and commercial deployment of products incorporating the
software.

Personal, educational, evaluation, and internal development use is
royalty-free for everyone regardless of revenue: the Free Tier Condition
applies only to distributing, publishing, or commercially deploying a
product.

## Attribution

If you distribute or publish a product incorporating the software to end
users, you must include the line "Made with Reactive UI Toolkit" (or "Reactive UI Toolkit —
Godot") in the product's credits, about screen, or accompanying
documentation, wherever other third-party software is credited. If the
product credits no third-party software at all, this requirement is satisfied
by the Notices section alone.

## Fair Use

You may have "fair use" rights for the software under the law. These terms do
not limit them.

## No Other Rights

These terms do not allow you to sublicense or transfer any of your licenses
to anyone else, or prevent the licensor from granting licenses to anyone
else. These terms do not imply any other licenses.

## Termination

The first time you are notified in writing that you have violated any of
these terms, or done anything with the software not covered by your licenses,
your licenses can nonetheless continue if you come into full compliance with
these terms, and take practical steps to correct past violations, within
32 days of receiving notice. Otherwise, all your licenses end immediately.

## No Liability

***As far as the law allows, the software comes as is, without any warranty
or condition, and the licensor will not be liable to you for any damages
arising out of these terms or the use or nature of the software, under any
kind of legal claim.***

## Definitions
